With a new business venture as a rental and property management agent for the Kildare and Laois areas, our client, Capricorn Properties first approached us at Creative State to discuss the design and development of corporate identity for web and print, along with a website. The brief was concise and provided us with information on how the brand was to be positioned amongst competitors. Capricorn Properties are passionate about property and aim to deliver superior customer service. 

These features were to be portrayed in Capricorns identity and web-site. The target audience was identified and the client disussed their creative preferences inclusing coporate colours. Website functionality, hosting and domain name registration was dicussed at this point and from here, our designers got to work on what would become www.capricornproperties.ie.

Our aim was to provide Capricorn with a professional and easily navigated web-site. With a dynamic and eye catching logo designed and completed for the client, the design of the web-site took shape. Meeting with the clients again, strong, high impact colours of green and black were decided on using the logo design. Template concepts were presented. It was important as a new business with a new website, to have a solid, well structured template, to attract large hit numbers.  

The sales and rental property website daft.ie has a large presence in the website property market. Capricorn Properties realised the importance of its having a presence on the site.The new site was developed so that once a property was selected to view on www.capricornproperties.ie, the site would link to its profile and listings on daft.ie, providing full details of the property. 

The domain www.capricornproperties.ie was registered by Creative State for the client. With a range of hosting packages available, depending on the type of site a client wants, Capricorn Properties were able to relax in knowing that their hosting would be taken care of and maintained by us. Creative State ensures the development of a web-site in keeping with its corporate identity to ensure the client is recognised from it’s colours / logo alone across all forms of media. Market relevent imagery was researched, selected and uploaded to enhance the site’s corporate colours and layout. Pages linking visitors to various property related news articles and websites were also created. The “tick” mark featured in the logo features subtly throughout the website, used by the designers as a bullet point on many of the sites page to communicate the brand with the sote visitor. 

As a rental property management firm, Capricorn Properties website would be constantly updated with new property listings. An important feature for us was to create a web pages where changing listings were highlighted to new and returning visitors. It was decided that poperties recently let would feature a “Let Agreed” sign to inform customers of all property status. 

Capricorn Properties website was thoroughly tested to ensure all features worked perfectly. Communication between the client’s site and www.daft.ie was checked, ensuring a quick transfer time is available to the site visitor, depending on their own internet speed. Search engine optimisation was completed, with important keywords used to gain a high search engine ranking for the site on Google, Yahoo, MSN etc.. Our client was also assured that the site was built to look and behave correctly with all internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Opera etc.)

As a new site, Creative State was unable to compare the site activity with an old web-site before, to evaluate the popularity /  increase in site visits. Using visitor statistic software, we continue to moniter all of our web-site designs for the client and www.capricornproperties.ie is performing very well to date.

Upon launching their website, Capricorn Properties was very happy with the result. Hit numbers on the Capricorn site and its profile pages on www.daft.ie are very positive and the rental and property management business continues its growth in the Kildare / Laois area. We at Creative State continue to work with Capricorn Properties, across web and print media.
